Simple Search Engine Optimization Techniques (SEO)

*** Effective referencing may seem difficult at the beginning, but using small tips that require little or no programming knowledge, could have a huge impact on the keyword rankings of your website.

1. 5 Simple Search Engine Optimization Techniques (SEO)

The lifespan of any website / e-commerce is traffic and each webmaster knows that the best type of traffic is natural, the traffic of organic search engines. There are two very important reasons for this: (1) It is extremely targeted and (2) it's free! The difficult part is to get the best ranking for your keyword sites ... or is it? The objective of this article is to provide some simple, effective and most important and important security strategies to improve the ranking of your websites and, finally, your traffic.

1. We will start with Meta tags. I know you have already heard about and probably do not use meta tags on your site. It's good. I just want to make sure you use them effectively. We will only spend 2 tags: the "title" tag and the "description".

We will not go to the "Keywords" tag, because the main search engines have less and less weight on it, and some would argue that this tag has no weight at all. I always use this label however, because I think there is merit and no disadvantage to the use of this tag.

I found that it is effective to use similar tags in "title" and "description" tags, and to place your keywords in good place in these tags (near the beginning and more than once) .

I saw sites with "Sitename.com", "new page 1" or "welcome to my site" in the "title" tag, which really does not help in their quest for higher ranking for their particular keyword . Also try not to use words such as "and", "or", or "the" in these tags.

***Important note on your keywords. Search engines assess the importance of keywords, keyword weight and keyword density when determining a site ranking. The three are individually calculated for the page, the title tag, the description tag, as well as other areas on a page. Keyword Prominence means how the keyword is at the beginning of your page. The keyword weight refers to the number of times a keyword or a particular phrase can be found on the page. The keyword density is the keyword report to the other words of the page. You do not want the keyword weight or density to be too high because it may appear to the search engine as "keyword stuffing" and most search engines penalize sites that trot their words -Clés.

2. Place your (and JavaScript) navigation links on the right or downstairs, but not left, of the page. When search engines "read" your site, they read from the top left to bottom right.

Search engines emphasize the first 100 words or text on the site. You do not want these words to be navigation or javascript links.

Ideally, you want your head tags with your keywords at the beginning of your page. That being said, place your links / javascript on the right or at the bottom of your page first assures you that the spiders of the search engine go to the text, giving more weight to what is important on your page.

3. Place Alt labels on all your images. Search engine spiders can not "read" images or images. The only way a spider knows what image is on reading the Alt tag.

This is also another chance to place more than your keywords from your HTML, improving the weight / density of your page of your page. Alt labels are easy to do and can make a big difference in your ranking sites keywords.

A simple Alt tag looks like this: alt = "put your keyword phrase here." The search engines calculate separately the keyword Prominence, the density and the weight in the Alt tags too, thus optimize your tags.

4. Place your keywords at the bottom of your page. Just like search engines place more weight on the first words of your page, they also do the same thing in the last words.

The general thought is this, if your site is about a given subject, the main points, or the keywords must be at the beginning, be widespread throughout the page and be eminent at the conclusion.

But if you have all your navigation links and JavaScript at the bottom, your page text concerned could end before the HTML code works. An easy way to get your keywords at the bottom of your page consists of including them in copyright information.

For example, if you have a dog food website, you could have something like this at the bottom of the page:

Search engines are not (from this writing), penalizing sites using this technique, and that would not really make sense for them to do it.

5. The anchor text of your links. The anchor text is the actual link text on a site. This is what the user clicks on to access this site or particular page.

If a search engine finds many links to your site using the term "dog food", the search engine concludes that your site is about "dog food".

This is neglected quite often, but it seems to have a very important impact on your search engine rankings for a particular keyword.

Your anchor text must be the keyword or phrase you are trying to target. Try to avoid anchoring text such as "Click here" or "Yoursite.com"

In addition, if you run a reciprocal link campaign, make sure you use variations in your text. If a motor notes that each link to your site is identical, it could place less weight on these links or potentially penalize your site.

Indeed, search engines generally give more weight to "natural" links and less to "reciprocal binding exchange campaigns".

The use of a different but relevant anchor text can considerably affect your targeted keyword rankings, showing your more natural links.

Efficient referencing may seem difficult at the beginning, but as you have read above, small tips that require little or no programming knowledge, can have a huge impact on the keyword rankings of your website.

Almost all webmasters or web owners look for ways to get better results from their websites.

They want to improve the position of their site and get better ranking in search engines.

This quest for improved results, called the search engine positioning, can be satisfied by following some basic procedures.

Even before you start, you have to realize that you are competing for hundreds, and in some categories, thousands of websites offering similar products and services.

In the case of affiliate marketing, many of the competing websites can even be identical! If you want to get the edge of these competitors and improve your search engine positioning, you must refine your website and work actively to make it better.

1. Make sure your design is a user-friendly search engine:

Your design can be good for your eyes, but it can also be the cause of your difficulties and a bad positioning of the search engine.

How is it possible? Look at your web page using a text editor or the HTML view of popular publishers such as Dreamweaver and FrontPage.

On which line starts your first copy line? If your actual copy is driven from a distance, it is more difficult for search engines to take crucial information that would have helped you improve your ranking of your web page.

If you have this difficulty, take all the unnecessary spaces of the HTML code first. If there are long Java script chains, put them in external files.

Similarly, put style information in external cascade style sheet files. Simplify your table structure can also help.

If it starts to make you too complicated for you, consult a professional search engine positioning specialist or your web designer.

2. Make sure your keywords are strategically placed in your copy:

It is not possible to improve the ranking of the web page if the legible copy on your web page does not contain the words you want to find.

Many people mistakenly think it's just putting your important keywords in Meta Tags enough. This is not true, some search engines barely use the Meta labels and look more at the copy of the page.

Make sure your important copy is in the first text paragraph, in the titles (using headers such as H1, H2, H3) and in the active or clickable parts of the link on your page.

3. Use a site card and text link navigation on your pages:

If you want to improve your positioning of your search engine for all pages in your website, you must be sure that these pages are actually indexed or included in the search engines.

You can help this process by performing a website map, a web page containing text links on all subpages of your site.

Another good practice is to include a text link navigation system on your web pages, even if you already have a navigation bar based on graphs elsewhere on these same pages. Remember that search engines follow the text links more easily.

A robot that lands on your main page or site page will follow the text links, and visit and index your lower level pages.

4. Increase the quantity and quality of incoming links:

In competitive fiercely categories, it will be difficult to improve the ranking of web pages without getting a lot of links to your page from other websites.

If you have a very good and valuable copy, other sites can link you as soon as you are a valuable resource.

However, if you want to speed up this process, you will need to actively request links from other websites, or by trading links, or by getting your content (with a link to your site) placed on other websites .

With regard to the links, you must keep in mind an important principle: it is not the amount of important links, but the quality.

A good link from a site of authority such that CNN or Wikipedia is worth more than dozens of links from other sites. To get these quality links, there is no short cut. You will need to gain it by having a site that provides a lot of useful information.

5. Follow the developments of the search engines:

The challenge of improving your web page ranking and your search engine positioning is dynamic. Search engines are not static.

Most of yesterday's big research engines have disappeared or are just minor players today.

You must follow the changes in the world of search engines by participating in online forums or by subscribing to the newsletters that deal with topics such as search engine optimization, web classification and issues related to the General webmaster.

For years, I got excellent information on the Digest LED, a subscription list that is sent several times a week. You can see samples online at www.led-digest.com

If you do not have the expertise or time to tackle these questions, you must take advantage of qualified professionals who can help you improve the performance of your site in search engines.

Whether you're doing with professionals or you can do yourself, these five tips can provide a good point of reference to start the job.

5 tips for classifying search engines

Lynn Vandyke provides 5 tips for classifying search engines. An excellent reading for those who simply start and a great reminder to the ancient pro on how simple and efficient processes can still do wonders.

Do you have a product or service you want to sell on the Internet? If this is the case, there are some fundamental components you need to know.

Put your product or service for sale is easy. You can find a cheap hosting plan and get a 1-5-page site in a few hours. But what's going on next?

Unfortunately, most companies will never sell their product successfully on the Internet.

Their sites can be flashy, but they do not receive visitors. To receive an endless power supply, targeted, research ducts that you should consider some of the 5 tips below.

Tip # 1- Provide high quality content

Provide content more than giving generic information. Provide content builds the trust between you and your visitor.

The more content you give, the bigger the link. Your content should focus on very specific keywords. Each page on your website must be optimized and focused on a keyword.

Finding keywords is a task in itself. I will be the first to admit that the keyword hunt with strong demand and a weak offer is not the easiest task in the world.

This can be boring and repetitive. After a while, the numbers mix together and you will feel a little surprised. But do not stop now! The keywords are the basis of your content pages and your business.

Council No. 2- Find relevant liaison partners

The days of negotiation with an old site are gone. There was a time period when search engines have counted the number of links from your site.

They fabricated that and determined if your site was good or not. So if your site had 300 other sites related there, the search engines would probably have considered a better site than a single site with only 10 incoming links.

Search engines have chosen since these days. Now, search engines put more emphasis on relevant links.

Your site must only create only on other high quality and relevant sites. If your site is cookies, you should not be linked to a site on the game.

It does not make sense for your visitors to your site, and it does not make sense to search engines.

When you exchange links with a relevant and high quality site, make sure to specify where your link should be placed for how long and what should say.

I often see people exchange links and in a few days, the link partner has taken the link. Only business with trusted webmasters.

Tip 3- Submit your site to site directories

It's a great way to get high quality sites and high ranking to link you. Think about a link to your site as a vote of trust.

The site directories are less popular than search engines, but their link allows you to help you increase in search engines rankings.

Beware of any site directory that charges you for submission. There are many major directories that allow you to submit your site for free.

Obtaining as accurate as possible with site directories is a good idea. If your site is cookies, you should try to find a site directory that only processes desserts or foods.

The general directories go well, but make sure to submit your site to the appropriate category. General directories tend to have a category for almost all subjects.

Some site directories will ask you to create them first. This is your choice. I do not link or pay to enter a site directory.

There are too many free products that do not require a link. Do not forget to place only relevant links on your site.

Do your visitors to your cookie site want to click on a link for a site directory?

# 4- Add a site map

A site card is a unique web page containing links to all other pages of your site. Adding a map will help your visitors find information quickly.

In addition to being a useful tool for visitors, a site map also helps search engines to find pages. When a search engine spider visits your site, it rashes through a page.

He visits all the links of your page and check the keywords. This is why keywords and relevant liaison partners are recommended above.

Once the spider of the search engine finds the site map, it will find all your other pages. Search engine spiders do not like digging very deeply in the sites.

They like to search through 2 or 3 "levels" of information. So, the hard-to-find pages will not be well ranked or will not be well ranked. A site map helps the engines to find all your pages at a time.

Tip # 5- Be patient and find other means of traffic

While waiting for search engines to clean your site and classify it could take a little time. I recommend a lot of patience.

When I post a new content page on my website, it takes a few weeks to point out. Some search engines are fast and immediately rank the page. Others are a little slower.

While you wait for your pages to rank well, I recommend finding other ways to generate traffic on your site.

You can consult PPC (pay-per-click advertisement), writing articles, offline ads, buy advertising spaces in Newsletters, make a joint venture with a Webmaster gour or post in relevant forums.

These 5 tips for classifying search engines are methods deemed and true. I built a site using these 5 tips and I can personally attest to their pure power.

Patience is the most difficult part. Continue creating relevant content, link to relevant partners, to submit to site directories, add a site map, and then continue to go.

Persistence has its doors. Building a web business takes time. Your company must develop and mature. The use of all or part of the above tips can provide a great drop of gains on the road.
